Endodontic referrals at Greenfield Dental Care

At Greenfield Dental Care, we provide high-quality, evidence-based endodontic (root canal) treatment for both routine and complex cases. Led by an experienced GDP with a Master’s degree in Endodontics, our service is designed to support referring dentists by delivering predictable outcomes, reducing treatment time in your practice, and ensuring your patients receive exceptional care.

We work in partnership with you, keeping you informed throughout the process so your patients return to your care with their treatment completed to the highest standard.

Patients are welcome to self-refer for dental treatment; if you’re unsure whether a referral is needed, please feel free to call or email our team for guidance.

How our endodontic referral process works

• Referral submission: Send patient details, clinical notes, and any recent radiographs via our secure online referral form.
• Initial assessment: We see the patient to confirm suitability for root canal treatment, discuss the procedure, outline the prognosis, and advise on any further treatment needs.
• Diagnostic imaging: A diagnostic radiograph is taken at the assessment appointment (alongside any images you provide).
• Treatment: Root canal treatment is completed using a clinical microscope and advanced obturation techniques for predictable results.
• Temporary restoration: The tooth is sealed with a composite base and temporary glass ionomer, ready for your restoration.
• Optional final restoration: If requested, we can provide the definitive restoration before returning the patient to your care.
• Communication: You receive a detailed report and post-treatment radiographs for your records.
